I'm a lifelong entrepreneur and leader who is passionate about good design, big ideas, and strong communities. I am most energized by work at the intersection of entrepreneurship, equity, and technology. I find the path from napkin to traction exhilarating and have traveled it multiple times personally and with clients. I hold a degree in Studio Art from Grinnell College and have spent the past 20 years mastering the art of business in leadership roles across Product, Sales, Finance, and Operations for organizations ranging from startups to public companies. I hold several patents, am a Minnesotan on the Move award recipient, and have served on non-profit boards including MetroIBA, St. Paul Central High School Foundation (Chair), and Unity Church-Unitarian (President).

‍I went to school for animation and graphic design at Truckee Meadows Community College. It might not sound like much but at the time that I attended, the professors were some of the most experienced industry vets in logo design, app design, and animation. While I attended, I was able to learn Web Design from a full time designer Fine Painting from a master painter, Hand Drawn Animation and Storyboarding from a retired art director from The Simpson's. I loved every minute. I completed University of Minnesota's Fall 2022's Full Stack Coding bootcamp which taught me HTML, CSS, Javascript and multiple modern development stacks.

I am a full-stack software engineer with experience bringing greenfield software projects to market both for clients and for my own businesses. I am skilled at choosing the right tradeoffs and technologies to solve problems today while leaving room to scale or pivot as requirements change in the future.
